Mrs. Jill Seitz

Schwenksville Elementary

Hello, I’m Mrs. Jill Seitz, the art teacher at Schwenksville Elementary. With a  passion for nurturing young artists, I’ve been teaching elementary art for an inspiring 24 years. My journey began in Harford County Public Schools in Maryland, where I had the pleasure of teaching elementary art from 1999 to 2003. Since then, I’ve been an integral part of the artistic community at Schwenksville Elementary, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching our young artists since 2003.

With a B.S. in Art Education from Millersville University and an M.S. in Art Education from Towson University, with a concentration in ceramics, I’ve honed my skills and knowledge to inspire the next generation of artists.

While I appreciate all forms of artistic expression, I have a particular fondness for watercolor, clay, and the art of drawing in perspective. My heart truly lies with the potter’s wheel, where I craft my dishware and share the joy of turning clay into functional art.

In my classroom, I aim to foster creativity, instill a love for art, and help every student discover their unique artistic voice. I look forward to sharing the wonderful world of art with your child and continuing to fuel their imagination through every brushstroke and sculpted form.”
